John 12:40 AMP

[40] “He has blinded their eyes and He hardened their heart, to keep them from seeing with their eyes and understanding with their heart and being converted; otherwise, I [their God] would heal them.”

It is an abomination and idolatry that the ministers and some of the HOP people have erected their own golden calf. The haitian sensation himself Rony Denis. A big lighted picture on the wall like a mural. Idolatry at it's best. Also, the ministers want the members to have Denis's picture as their screensaver, 🤢🤮.

Let's look at what the Bible says about that.

Exodus 20:1-26

And God spoke all these words, saying, “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. “You shall have no other gods before me. “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, ...

Luke 4:8

And Jesus answered him, “It is written, “‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.’”

Roman's 6:16

Do you not know that if you present yourselves to anyone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness?

Isaiah 42:8

I am the Lord; that is my name; my glory I give to no other, nor my praise to carved idols.

Idolatry is the worship of an idol, icon, or image as a god, or the excessive worship of any person or thing as if it were a god.

Idolatry is the worship of anything or anyone other than the divine, whether a physical idol, a concept, or a person. It involves giving ultimate importance, devotion, or significance to something that is not God, effectively placing it before God. This concept is central to the Abrahamic religions, where it is viewed as the root of sin, a betrayal of God, and a distortion of the Creator-creature relationship. 

Forms of Idolatry

• Physical Idols: The most direct form of idolatry, involving the creation and worship of physical images or objects as though they were deities. 

• Conceptual Idolatry: Giving ultimate importance to abstract concepts or human desires, such as wealth, power, greed, or even the desire for security. 

• Prioritizing Anything Over God: Placing any aspect of life, relationship, or possession above one's relationship with God, making it a "little god". 

Significance and Consequences

• Root of Sin: In Christianity and Judaism, idolatry is considered the foundational sin because it steals glory and devotion that rightfully belongs to God alone. 

• Distorted Relationship: It inverts the Creator-creature relationship, causing humans to worship created things instead of their Creator. 

• Lack of Satisfaction: Idolatry leaves people in a perpetual state of unfulfillment because the created things they worship can never truly satisfy their deepest needs. 

Rony Denis is a very sinful man and he will NEVER!! take the place of God. Repent HOP!!! And turn from your wicked ways before it's too late.
