A stern warning to House of Prayer members
Idolatry, HOPCC, Exposed, Cult Manipulation
They used to sing about Jesus. Do you remember it? The sanctuary would echo with voices lifted high: “I am not for sale.” People wept as they sang, “I am crucified with Christ.” We swore our loyalty to the Gospel, and some of us even believed we would die for the truth.
But what happened? Where is that fire now?
The latest news to come out of House of Prayer is chilling. Rony Denis has crossed yet another line in his unrelenting quest to be worshiped. He has instructed the members to set his photograph as their phone screensaver, so that the first face they see every morning, every time they check a text, every time they open their phone is him. The “apostle.” The self-proclaimed man of God. The controller. The idol.
And as if that weren’t enough, he has now demanded that members erect murals of his face inside their homes. Glowing. Lit up. His visage watching them as they eat, as they sleep, as they pray. A shrine in their living room, bedroom, hallway—a false altar where the image of a man is exalted above the Living God.
Some of you may excuse it. Some may say, “Well, it’s just a picture. We aren’t really worshiping him.” But that’s exactly how idolatry works. It creeps in through “just a picture,” “just a symbol,” “just obedience.” Soon, the heart bows where the body never intended to kneel. They may say with their mouths that they don't bow to Denis, but their obedience and loyalty, even above God dealing with their heart, says different.
The Lord has already spoken on this matter:

The Sin That Leads Your Children Astray
And here is the harsh reality: while you are busy defending Denis’ image, your children are watching. Your sons and daughters are absorbing every compromise. Every time they see you bow to fear instead of God, every time they see Denis’ face exalted above Christ’s, every time they hear you repeat the slogans instead of the Scriptures, their souls are being shaped.
You used to sing about standing firm. You used to boast that you were not for sale. But you’ve sold your children for a lie.
Your sin, your compromise, your idolatry has led them astray.
You can say you love them. You can work three jobs to provide for them. You can boast that you “sacrifice” for the ministry. But if you hand them over to a false shepherd, if you raise them under the glowing face of a man instead of the blazing glory of the risen Christ, then you are no better than the Israelites who sacrificed their children to Baal.
Do not soften this. Do not excuse it. Idolatry destroys generations. And if you think Denis will stop here, you are deceiving yourself. Today it’s his photo on your wall. Tomorrow it will be his words replacing Scripture. Song lyrics being changed. Then his approval replacing God’s... Oh wait!
YOU'RE ALREADY THERE!
And one day, your children may not even know the name of Jesus—because they were trained to know only Denis.
What Happened to the Gospel?
What happened to making a stand for the Gospel?
What happened to all those songs about being not for sale and crucified with Christ?
You once declared your life belonged to Jesus, but now your phone lights up with Denis’ face. You once said, “I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live,” but now you are resurrected only when Denis approves of you. You once shouted, “For me to live is Christ, to die is gain!” but now you live for Denis, and you’re dying inside without Christ.
The Gospel demands that Christ alone be worshiped. Anything else is treason. Paul warned us plainly in Galatians 1:8:

Denis is preaching another gospel—a gospel where he is the mediator, he is the image, he is the one you must behold. And Paul’s words are still true: let him be accursed.
The Jealousy of God
This is not harmless. This is not quirky. This is war against the throne of God.
The jealousy of God is not like human jealousy. It is not petty or insecure. It is holy. It is the burning fire of a Bridegroom who will not share His Bride with a harlot. When you hang Denis’ face in your home, when you bow to his demands, you are putting another lover in your marriage bed with Christ. You are provoking the holy jealousy of the One who bought you with His blood.
And do not think He will turn a blind eye. The God who overthrew Pharaoh, who crushed Jezebel, who exposed the false prophets of Baal, will not let Denis continue forever.
Warning to House of Prayer Members
The glowing face on your wall is not a blessing—it is a curse, a counterfeit glory marking you for judgment if you do not repent.
The Spirit of the Lord is speaking: Denis’ obsession with his own face is a sign of desperation. He knows his time is short. He is clinging to visibility because God is stripping away his power.
But woe to those who follow him into judgment. Woe to those who let their children grow up beneath the glow of his mural. This golden calf. Woe to those who see the idolatry and still say nothing.
God’s Word is not unclear in Revelation 18:4:

This is your moment of decision. Tear down the murals. Delete the screensavers. Renounce the idol. Lift your eyes back to Jesus.
Beholding the True Face
The unveiled face of Christ is our calling, our transformation, our glory. Paul said:
“And we all, with unveiled face, continually seeing as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are progressively being transformed into His image from [one degree of] glory to [even more] glory, which comes from the Lord, [who is] the Spirit.” (2 Corinthians 3:18 Amplified)
Not Denis. Not any man. The face of the Lord. His beauty is what changes us. His glory is what sustains us. His love is what secures us. Anything else is a cheap counterfeit.
Why stare at the smirk of a manipulator when you can gaze into the eyes of the One who holds galaxies in His hands? Why light up your walls with a mural of a fraud when Christ Himself said, “I am the Light of the World” (John 8:12)?
In all of this, I desperately want to reacquaint you with the Word of God. I urge you to NOT take my word for it. Read the Word of God for yourselves. Cast down your idols.
Final Plea
House of Prayer members, this is not just about you. This is about your children. This is about your witness. This is about eternity.
If you continue down this path, you will lose far more than you ever imagined. Denis cannot save you. He cannot redeem you. He cannot cleanse your conscience or forgive your sins. He is dust, and to dust he will return.
But Jesus is eternal. His throne is unshakable. His love is unending. His glory is unmatched. And His face is the only face worth seeing when you wake up in the morning, when you lay down at night, when you draw your final breath.
Choose this day whom you will serve. (Joshua 24:15)
Prayer
Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, we cry out against this abomination. We renounce every idol, every false image, every mural, every glowing screen that has exalted the face of a man above the glory of God. We break agreement with the spirit of Antichrist. We tear down the high places erected in our homes and in our hearts.
Lord, forgive us for bowing to fear. Forgive us for handing our children over to lies. Forgive us for singing songs we did not live. Cleanse us with Your blood. Wash us in Your truth.
We declare: Only Jesus is Lord. Only Jesus is worthy of worship. Only Jesus is the face we will behold forever.
Father, open the eyes of the captives still trapped in House of Prayer. Shake the walls of deception. Shatter the chains of fear. Expose the counterfeit glory and release a wave of holy fire that burns away idolatry.
We prophesy that every mural of Denis will come down. Every phone that lights up with his face will be reclaimed for the Word of God. Every child raised under his shadow will be rescued into the light of Christ.
Lord, let Your glory rise and let every idol fall. Let Your name be exalted above every name. Let the face of Jesus shine brighter than every counterfeit.
And when the smoke clears, may it be known to all: There is no other God but You. There is no other Savior but You. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved but the name of Jesus.
In the name above every name, Amen.
Very subtle in his ways. Crafty and deceitful. To those who are gone it is so obvious but to some that are still bound it is not so... Like a snake, a viper waiting to poison his prey, he reels them into himself until a split second, he attacks and leaves no survivors.
To the ones still there...how long will you look over those red flags? How long will you ignore the Lords still small voice? How long will you turn away from your first love, Christ Jesus? And how far will you let Denis reel you in to his web of lies and deceit?
One day it's a portrait of himself in your house, its a song of himself…
And just like an idol, denis only has the power that the superstitious people of hopcc allow him to have. He has no real power, just manipulation and control, which is witchcraft.
2 Samuel 23:6-7 KJV
But the sons of Belial shall be all of them as thorns thrust away, because they cannot be taken with hands: [7] But the man that shall touch them must be fenced with iron and the staff of a spear; and they shall be utterly burned with fire in the same place.
David knew how to deal with the son's of rebellion (Belial) I pray more will learn how to deal with Denis. (A son of Belial)
