Directly From the Mouth of Denis

I watched these videos and was surprised by the similarities in my personal experiences with Denis...

How can you identify a cult leader? What are the signs of a cult leader? Here are 13 phrases cult leaders love to say:

1. “God told me to tell you . . .”

"For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus . . .” (1 Timothy 2:5)

2. “The Bible says . . .”

"But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing.” (James 1:25)

3. "God sent me to . . " God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” (James 4:6)

4.“God will punish those people for what they did to me . . .”

"When he was reviled, he did not revile in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten, but continued entrusting himself to him who judges justly.” (1 Peter 2:19-23)

5.“Don’t question my authority . . .”

"...watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you . . .” (1 Peter 5:1-3, NIV)

6.“This is okay for me to do because . . .”

"Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.” (Galatians 6:7)

7. “Don’t talk to those people because . . .”

"Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted.” (Galatians 6:1)

8.“You need to give me your money because . . .”

"For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.” (1 Timothy 6:9-10)

9.“My church is better than that church because . . .”

"For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” are you not being merely human? What then is Apollos? What is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, as the Lord assigned to each. I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. He who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his wages according to his labor. For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s field, God’s building. (1 Corinthians 3:4-9)

10. “A spiritual revolution is coming here . . .”

"Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.” (Matthew 24:23-24)

11. “The spiritual revolution is not happening because you people are not . . .”

"Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath. 17 These are a shadow of the things to come, but the substance belongs to Christ.18 Let no one disqualify you, insisting on asceticism and worship of angels, going on in detail about visions, puffed up without reason by his sensuous mind, 19 and not holding fast to the Head, from whom the whole body, nourished and knit together through its joints and ligaments, grows with a growth that is from God.” (Colossians 2:16-19)

12. “Outsiders hate me because . . .”

"Moreover, he must be well thought of by outsiders, so that he may not fall into disgrace, into a snare of the devil.” (1 Timothy 3:7)

13. “If you leave us, you are turning your back on God and horrible things will happen to you . . .”

"Then Jesus told his disciples, ‘If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.’” (Matthew 16:24)

Here is another video that cut close to the bone...

A cult is far more than a mere fringe group with unconventional beliefs. It is a masterfully orchestrated system of control, manipulation, and exploitation. At its core, a cult is an organization that employs coercive techniques to subvert an individual's sense of self, replacing it with an identity molded to serve the cult's purposes. The result is a profound transformation that can render even the most rational person incapable of distinguishing truth from fiction, freedom from bondage.

Knowledge is the first step towards freedom. Let us shine a light into the shadows where cults thrive, and in doing so, reclaim the power of independent thought and genuine human connection.

Recognizing that you or a loved one might be in a cult is rarely a sudden realization. Instead, it's often a gradual awakening, a slow accumulation of red flags that eventually becomes impossible to ignore. Let's explore the signs that suggest you might be entangled in a cult's web and ways that you can escape.

Why are people blinded to the blatant witchcraft in HOPCC?

At some point, HOPCC members had to deny Christ to draw closer to Denis. How you "respectfully disagree" with God?!

How did we end up here?

Much self-examination and acknowledging the truth is needed.
