Beside the Face of Evil: Raw Podcast Interview

It’s a strange, gut-wrenching thing—seeing my face next to his. The man who shattered families, devoured faith, and left a trail of broken souls in his wake. The man who orchestrated so much pain, and yet hid behind the mask of holiness for far too long.

And now, here I am. My face beside his on a screen, a flyer, a podcast teaser. Two very different stories colliding: one of deception, and one of survival. One of destruction, and one of rebuilding. One of chains, and one of freedom.

When I first escaped House of Prayer, there was no microphone waiting for me. There was no spotlight, no crowd cheering freedom. There was only silence, shame, and questions that haunted me in the dark: Why did this happen? Why did I stay? Who am I now?

I never imagined the day would come when I’d be interviewed about my book, Unveiled Edition, or speaking openly about the arrests of HOPCC leaders. Back then, survival felt like enough. Breathing outside of Denis’ grip felt like a miracle. But God doesn’t stop at survival. He redeems, He restores, and He raises voices out of the ashes.

This podcast isn’t just about a book launch or a headline. It’s about truth finally breaking the surface after years of suffocating silence. It’s about survivors daring to say, “I was there, and I’m not afraid to tell it anymore.” It’s about shining light on the lies that once controlled us, and showing the world the cost of blind obedience to a false shepherd.

To every survivor reading this: I see you. I hear you. I carried the same fear, the same guilt, the same torment of being branded as the one who “turned against God.” But here’s the truth—walking away from abuse is not walking away from God. Speaking out is not betrayal. It is courage.

So yes, it feels strange to see my face beside his. But maybe that’s exactly what needs to be seen: the contrast between a man who destroyed lives, and the countless lives rising from the ruins. The story isn’t over. Justice is catching up. Freedom is spreading. And the voices they tried to silence are only getting louder.
