Why has the pulpit become a place to persecute people?

Read this from a post and it makes perfect sense. We have experienced this so many times in HOP and many other churches do this. It's time for this nonsense to stop.

I’ve heard too many stories of pastors using the pulpit to embarrass people, expose private situations, settle personal disagreements, and turn entire congregations against someone.

And I keep wondering…

When did preaching the gospel become publicly punishing people?

Because once you have the microphone, the title, and the trust of the room, you already have the advantage.

People are likely to believe your version before they ever hear the other person’s.

Looks like hopcc has a new website at hopccwitness where they stood up a defense fund section looking to raise a million bucks. looks like they are the ones getting persecuted.

Remember Denis kept saying the rapture was gonna happen

Maybe he was hoping it would happen before they got caught and people started leaving. I know I'm glad to be free from the church and being controlled everyday. People have so much evidence on this church starting with telling the people how to get more money out of the VA, abusing the children, lying to an on the people & to the police and much more to tell so what do you have to say?

I wonder if the people overseas even know that he's in prison

Just A Reminder: Bottom Feeders

(1 Timothy 6:10) always pops up in my mind everytime I pass by the two money feeding sanctuaries here in Fayetteville, NC. Of course, soul-winning, love-bombing, coerce, manipulate, perverse Scriptures to fatten their pockets with these Soldiers because they're good at being obedient due to their lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6) to Scriptures. Meanwhile disregarding what the Lord hath spoken to the hypocritical religious pharisees (HOPCC pastors) -- Matthew 23:23; Mark 12:30-31; John 15:12

This is definitely HOP

Another one bites the dust

So Jay Bishop just "resigned" from HOP. Basically he's admitting that HOP is a FRAUD because why would he resign if the church is right?🤔🤔 Also to my understanding he's starting his own church, What!? Dude, take some time off, get right with God before you go and lead more people to hell. Go and call all of the people that you messed up and sat under your false doctrine and teachings and make it right.

On another note there's fellowship meeting this Saturday 7/11/26. But why? Schmidtke told his congregation that only certain of them are going to heaven and the rest are going to hell, and you all still sit under that mess? And to top it off, he doesn't want the Fayetteville church to fellowship with the Hinesville church because he says his church is better than the others. Then why even come down to "fellowship" you…

I am not surprised Schmidtke told people not to go to hinesville. He is reading the writing on the wall. He is trying to carve out a piece of the empire for himself now that he sees Denis is going up the river.

Although i did wonder if he would just try to take over everything and say Denis was "Compromised". I guess he sees it as easier to just take the Fayetteville Church and build off of that?

I expected something like this when another post pointed out he is now ceo. Just a matter of time until Denis is called a Homosexual who god is punishing or something like that. He will explain away denis is in jail and he is now the apostle to take his place.
