The Cult

I made a painful decision to speak out about something that exists in our family.  No longer will I be silent about cults & specifically “religious cults”.

I have a dear loved child who has been in one for about twenty years.  This so called Christian church has a leader with several people under him who are mainly committed to getting money from you, getting your heart & soul from you. If somehow this leader is able to get your legal signature, now can use your name to buy a house or two & refinance. Notary stamps have ended up in the hands of these imposters.  The Ponzi schemes are working in this church.

Attendees are expected to dress a certain way, particularly if you are a woman.   There is so much more to say. The main leader, an evil man, doesn’t talk about caring for others or spreading his wealth.  Several people have found their way out and one has written a book.

The Federal Government and at least one State Government are investigating this church.  These leaders have bilked thousands and thousands of dollars from college students who were using the GI bill.  There are now several indictments and subpoenas against several men and 2 women.

I have never been a member and refuse to enter any of their buildings ever again and I know others who have left this cult who have many more painful experiences than I will ever know or speak of.  The brain washing is very insidious.

This cult is called The House of Prayer and there are several around the country-Tacoma, Olympia, Tumwater, Hinesville, Augusta, some in Texas.  The leader particularly likes to plant near military bases.  

I hope others will speak against this cult or even other cults.

I went to counseling with a specialist in this field and cults are indeed a horror that it is so prevalent in our world..
