Mr. Denis made one point right which is the scripture he quoted in Acts 5. Obey God rather than men.
This is the cycle of humanity in the flesh.
I have heard that term before, "fossilized."
The institution becomes fossilized when the lusts of the eyes and flesh feeds the pride of life.
In the Marines, we were taught in basic that the blame for the team's failure is the supervisor.
If the leader is caught in the net, whom God appointed, then the rest will also be caught into the net.
This happens to many churches over the years. Biblically speaking, it happened to the nation of Israel.
It's happening to the world as I speak.
What we can take from this is Acts 5.
I don't know the outcome if these cases, but obey God rather than men.

There are no appointed leaders In the New Testament except Jesus. Any appointed leader can fall into the ditch and I won't because I'm not following them. I'm following Jesus. Jesus is my Shepherd. I have no men shepherd. Only blind followers follow blind leaders. I'm following Jesus who gave me my sight.
